You have a popular job with lots of people applying for a few positions. Or, you have lots of people applying to lots of opening. Its great to have lots of applicants. But not so great to have to sort through hundreds or thousands of resumes to find the few great candidates you need.

Consider having AI screen your resumes for you. This way you're ensured to have the best candidates brought to your attention. Instead of lost in the pile.

It also doesn’t help that most applicants only spend about 50 seconds reviewing a job description. And, half of applicants are not really qualified.

In any event, recruiters and hiring teams must wade through all the resumes to find the candidates you want. How do you get your ducks in a row?

Costco had a similar problem when they opened their first warehouse in Spain. Read about it here. More than 148,000 people had applied for the Seville warehouse’s 250 job.

If one recruiter spent 10 seconds reviewing each resume that Costco received, it would take over 400 hours without breaks to review them all. That’s half a year!

The answer is to use AI to generate a short list of candidates. The AI models are trained to search for skills and qualities the hiring team requires from candidates and new hires.

The benefit to using AI, is it scales. You could easily have the AI screen a few hundred candidate resumes. Or, the AI could scale to review thousands of resumes in the same time as hundreds. One person does not scale very well. Computers may scale by adding more resources on demand in minutes.

AI screening is like having trained interns that are available on demand to review your resumes when you need them reviewed.

This allows recruiters and hiring teams to do what they do best. Recruit. Instead of spending 10 seconds sorting through resumes. Spend the time to learn about the qualified candidates doing what you do best. Recruit.
